You Can Get Interstate Travel Forms From PDRM Facebook And Twitter Accounts
Yesterday, the Malaysian authorities have announced the interstate travel schedule. Generally, the application to travel between states has to be done via the Gerak Malaysia app, or at police stations by 5 May. If you choose to do the latter, you can now print out physical forms before you visit the nearest police station.
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has made the interstate travel forms available on its Facebook and Twitter accounts. But before you bring a filled form to your nearest police station, you will have to first call the station to make an appointment. This is so that it does not get congested as a result. If an application is approved, you’ll get it the same day the form is submitted.
That being said, this option is only available for those who did not already download the Gerak Malaysia app. After all, if you already have the app, it would be much more convenient to use it instead. This is especially considering applications must be submitted by 5 May. Then there’s the matter of the appointment, which can be bad news if you’re not allowed to go to the police station on the day you called.
All in all, if you need to apply for interstate travel permission, doing it via the Gerak Malaysia app is the easier way to do it. If you still prefer to do it in person, then you can get the form via the PDRM Facebook and Twitter accounts, linked below. You’ll need to have two copies of the forms filled, though.
