McDonald’s App Now Available On Huawei AppGallery Malaysia
One of the main challenges for Huawei now that it has lost access to the Google Mobile Services (GMS) is it has to populate its own AppGallery. While a number of Malaysia-centric apps like telco apps are already there, there’s always room for more. One app has recently made it to the AppGallery too, and that’s McDonald’s.
The McDonald’s app has not just been made available on the Huawei AppGallery, but also via its Quick Apps feature. This allows you to use the app without actually downloading it, saving the storage space it would’ve taken otherwise.

As mentioned, there are a fair number of apps that are already available on the Huawei AppGallery. From the aforementioned telcos to banks, and even the Malaysian government’s COVID-19 monitoring app, MySejahtera. The Chinese tech giant is also still looking to have Google apps in, even if it can’t have GMS.
With more and more apps coming in, it will be easier for users in the country to adapt to the lack of GMS and the Google Play Store. And with the recent launch of the company’s P40 phones, this may be good news to those looking to pick up the new Huawei flagship phone.
