Recovery Movement Control Order To Begin On 10 June; Interstate Travel Is Allowed Once Again

With just a few days left before we reach the conclusion of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) on 9 June, it is a high time for the government to announce its next move. That is happening as we speak, with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has just announced the new Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) phase that will take over CMCO.

In his speech, PM Muhyiddin stated that the new RMCO will start from 10 June onwards and will last until 31 August 2020. Under the RMCO, the government will further ease the restrictions that it has imposed on people in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Among them is the ability to travel interstate once again which can take place starting from 10 June onwards. Of course, this doesn’t apply to areas under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
