WWE Streaming Service Currently Free For Everyone
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that a vast portion of their streaming service is now free for everyone. This comes as a move to help fans staying entertained at home during social distancing due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the pro wrestling network, various Video-on-Demand (VOD) content such as recent pay-per-view, documentaries, and every WrestleMania event in history is now available without requiring a subscription. Non-subscribers will still need to register for a free WWE account in order to access these videos.
Also included in the free VOD package are recent episodes of Monday Night Raw, Smackdown, and many others. WWE mentions that all of their streaming content is available for non-subscribers for a limited time, but has not announced an actual end date just yet.
However, the network also added that this year’s two-part WrestleMania event on 4 – 5 April is only available to paid WWE subscribers. Interestingly, Forbes reports that sources have suggested that the wrestling franchise’s major event will be pre-recorded instead of streaming or televising it live.
So there you have it. This is the perfect opportunity for new and old-school wrestling fans to relive classic matches from your favourite WWE superstars. Just don’t get too pumped up and start mimicking their special moves at home. Stay safe.
