Facebook Dark Mode is Rolling Out to Desktop Users, Here is How to Enable
Although the availability of Dark Mode in their F8 event, but after a lot of testing and experimenting, the Facebook dark mode is finally rolling out. The phase of the rollout is scheduled for desktop users, after the successful implementation in desktop version, Facebook will start rolling the update to mobile app users.

The brand new Fb has the House, Watch and Market Place tabs on the prime, whereas the choice to toggle Darkish Mode is within the dropdown menu on the prime left of the display.
The choices on the prime had been earlier seen above the shortcuts. The brand new look even has a devoted tab for Fb Gaming as properly. The Tales part has been moved under Gaming, whereas the Create Publish field has been moved additional down.
How to Switch to Dark Mode?
You can easily switch to dark mode if you are already using the newly redesigned Facebook interface on your laptop or desktop. Follow the below steps to switch to dark mode in the new redesigned Facebook interface:
- Open facebook.com
- Go to the Settings Menu
- Tap on “See New Facebook.”
- To disable it, you can always return and hit “Switch to Classic Facebook.”
Didn’t get the update? No worries, you can always use Chrome flags to forcefully enable dark mode. Here is how you can do so:
- Open Chrome or any chromium-based browser.
- Open the main menu and tap on Help.
- And then tap on About Google Chrome.
- Now the browser will find and install any available updates automatically.
When you are done update the browser. Follow the below steps to enable dark mode:
- Open Chrome or any chromium-based browser.
- In the URL block, type the below address and hit enter:
chrome://flags/
- Now on the flags page, search for Dark Mode.
- And change the status of Force Dark Mode from Default to Enable.
