Pick up the more affordable Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite ahead of the S20 launch in this cheap contract
Get the brand new Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite for just £32 a month.
It does seem a touch odd to us that Samsung decided to release another more affordable variant to its S10 series just a month prior to the Unpacked event that will see the unveiling of the latest flagship handsets. More questionable still is its overall design seems to stick rather closely to the S20 leaks we’ve seen, leading us to wonder why they didn’t release it alongside the rest of the S20 family.
That said, customers can get ahead of the game with a fantastic new handset with the recently released S10 Lite, offering 45GB of data in this EE plan for just £32 a month after cashback and zero upfront costs. Coming to a total cost of £768 across the 24-month period, you’ll pay just £7.87 for the tariff itself once subtracting the value of the handset (£579), making this an exceptional deal.
Aside from the confusion surrounding this left-field launch, as always the S10 Lite is a stunning addition from the South Korean brand, offering something of a flagship experience at a far cheaper price point.
With a larger screen than the S10e, the S10 Lite boasts a gorgeous 6.7-inch FHD OLED display that skips out on Samsung’s usual choice of a more curved edge, making for what we deemed a far more comfortable, secure grip in our palm. It also hosts Samsung’s 32MP selfie camera as a punch hole, taking centre stage at the top of the panel, rather than nestled in the right hand corner like the S10e.
Perhaps more interestingly is its rear camera-set up, which, again, features the same square camera cluster we’ve seen in S20 leaks. Here there is an interesting assortment of sensors unlike we’ve seen on another Samsung handset, the most worthy of note being its 5MP macro lens. Sitting with this is the main 42MP sensor and the 12MP ultra-wide sensor.
Under the hood, the specs don’t sound like a mid-range handset either. Packing a Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8GB of RAM and an impressive 4500mAh battery cell, the S10 Lite should definitely promise a performance that extends far beyond its affordable price-tag.
Odd Samsung’s timing may be, but it can’t be denied the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite sounds like an excellent handset for those who aren’t committed to dropping what are likely to be the big bucks on the impending S20 series.
Throwing EE’s 45GB tariff into the mix, enjoy unlimited minutes and texts on top of access to the likes of Apple Music, BT Sport and MTV Play for a limited time with your contract.
