New super-flexible BT TV bundles integrate Sky's Now TV
BT has announced a range of new, flexible TV packages that benefit from full integration with Sky’s Now TV streaming platform.
In new flexible packages launching on February 24, BT TV subscribers will be able to watch Sky Sports and Sky Atlantic without leaving their main TV interface. That means Now TV, Amazon Prime Video and Netflix 4K could be enjoyed alongside BT Sport in 4K all via the same box, bill and remote. The company’s voice and text search tools will also support services from other providers.
The highlight for sports fans appears to be the Big Sport bundle, which costs £40 a month and brings all of the four BT Sport channels and 11 Sky Sports channels via Now TV. If you just want BT Sport (and Box Nation), that’ll cost you £15 a month. Seeing as Now TV Sky Sports pass costs £33.99 by itself, there’s a £9 saving for bundling up.

There are also entertainment passes featuring Sky One and Sky Atlantic for £10, and an extra £10 if you want Sky Cinema too. The VIP bundle includes everything and costs £60 a month. You don’t have to commit to anything beyond the initial 24-month contract and minimum tariff of £10 a month. You can pick up and drop bundles as you see fit. If you don’t want to go all-in, you can buy any of the above as individual options, plus Netflix and Amazon Prime as bolt-ons. They’re all monthly, except for the Sky Sports Pass, which is available weekly and daily from £9.99.
Users will be able to control which packages they’re subscribing to online or via the BT app. New sign-ups to the bundle will get six months of free Amazon Prime anyway, as well as the 4K-enabled set top box with pause, rewind and record and more. BT also seems pretty pleased with the fact Now TV is also fully integrated with this functionality too.
