Black Shark 3 Confirmed To Launch On 3 March 2020

Xiaomi subsidiary Black Shark has announced that its third gaming smartphone will be launched on 3 March 2020. According to the company’s post on Weibo, the launch will also see the reveal of a limited edition Tencent version of the phone.

The company teased that the Black Shark 3 will be 5G capable, which suggests that it may feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 flagship chipset. Besides showing off a very vague teaser on Weibo, the phone’s actual specifications, features, and design are still kept under wraps at this time.

Leaker Sudhanshu previously reported that the Black Shark 3 might be equipped with 16GB of RAM, while another source suggests that it could also feature a 120Hz 2K QHD display. Additionally, GSMArena reports the phone may feature a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging.

We will have to wait until 3 March to find out more regarding the upcoming gaming smartphone when it officially launches. According to Black Shark, the launch will be streamed live but did not specify on which platform.
