Razer Announces Viper Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse; Retails For RM719

Razer has officially launched the Viper Ultimate wireless gaming mouse. The mouse is a follow-up to the original Viper, but unlike its predecessor, Razer has cut the cord on the Viper Ultimately, quite literally.

As the name line up suggests, the Viper Ultimate bears the same ambidextrous design as before, with some obvious improvements having been made to it as well. It still utilises Razer’s Optical Mouse Switches, but instead of physical contact points, the Viper Ultimate now uses infrared light to detect actuation. In more technical terms, the new switch has a report rate of just 0.2ms and a lifespan of 70 million clicks.

The Viper Ultimate also comes with a 20000 DPI optical sensor and advanced lift-off and landing customisation. Further, Razer also says that the mouse’s latency is improved, thanks its own Hyperspeed wireless technology that constantly ensures that there is a high-speed response rate.

Battery-wise, Razer says that the Viper Ultimate can last up to 70 hours on a single charge. In also come bundled with a charging dock. Additionally, the mouse is fitted with Razer’s Chroma RGB LED for those who feel inclined to transform the gaming peripheral into a lightshow.

The Viper Ultimate was also designed with eSports in mind, and therefore supports both wired and wireless connectivity. Oh, and the wireless dongle can be safely tucked in the underside compartment of the mouse.

The Razer Viper Ultimate is already available in Malaysia and retails for RM719.
