Computex 2018: Kingston Announces HyperX PulseFire FPS Pro Mouse and Alloy FPS RGB Mechanical Keyboard

We paid a visit to Kingston’s booth during Computex 2018, where the company showed us two of its latest HyperX gaming peripherals. The two products were its Alloy FPS RGB mechanical keyboard, and the PulseFire FPS Pro gaming mouse.

The Alloy FPS RGB keyboard is basically is an updated version of its Alloy FPS gaming keyboard that launched last year. As its namesake suggests, the new Alloy FPS RGB comes with a new DIP style, per-key RGB layout that is fully customisable. The keyboard uses Kailh Silver Speed key switches, which have an actuation force of around 40gf, and a total travel distance of 3.5mm.

Moving on, the PulseFire FPS Pro’s physical appearance has been updated with two RGB zones. Naturally, these zones can be customised by users to glow in any colour they choose. Kingston also changed the side grips of the mouse to a new texture that actually provides a more secure grip when being held or lifted.

The PulseFire FPS Pro uses a new Pixart 3389 sensor which has a maximum sensitivity of 16000 DPI. In regards to its buttons, the mouse uses Omron click switches, which Kingston says is good for up to 20 million clicks.

At the time of writing, Kingston did not say when the two products will be available in Malaysia.
