Samsung Wireless Charging ITFIT UV Steriliser Case Appears In SIRIM Database
Not too long ago, Samsung launched its ITFIT UV sterilising charging case, a casing that – as the name suggests – Samsung says will kill up to 99% of bacteria on your smartphone within 10 minutes. Now, it seems that the casing is making its way to Malaysia, if a recent SIRIM posting is anything to go by.
As usual, the discovery was made by the ever-watchful and eagle-eyed database observer, Kevin Ng TK (@KevinNgTK). According to the product entry on the SIRIM database, the UV sterilising charging case goes by the model name GP-TOU020SABWW, and is listed as a “wireless charger”. Unfortunately, there are no further details about the product in question, but at the very least, we do know that it received its approval just yesterday.
@Soya_Cincau @LowyatNET Samsung Malaysia probably will start selling this UV sterilizer with wireless charging device in MY market soon. pic.twitter.com/V50GcCCgD3

On another note, Samsung Malaysia still provided an exact launch date for its UV steriliser cum wireless charging case, but again, seeing how the device made its way into our SIRIM database. It’s a fair assumption that we can expect a launch – grand or silent – of the accessory sometime in the near and immediate future.
(Thanks for the tip, Kevin Ng TK!)
