EatLokal Delivery Service Available In Klang Valley; Offers Local F&B Variety Of Food
From the company that brought us the online grocery store MyGroser comes a new community-focused food delivery service called EatLokal. According to the press release, the new platform aims to improve the quality of service, pricing and approach to food delivery services while also helping local F&B businesses grow.
Demand for food delivery has drastically increased since the implementation of MCO back in March. With that, the company explains, businesses now pay a large amount of money to get their food delivered, while customers are paying more than needed for the service as well. With assistance from other brands including MyGroser and SoCar, the EatLokal platform is set to deliver a better experience for both businesses and customers.
The platform will charge approved businesses at an initial commission on sales of only 10% during the launch period, in the interest of helping them bounce back after the effects of the MCO. EatLokal deliveries will rely on independent motorcycle delivery teams, private delivery operators, and services provided by SoCar Malaysia. In collaboration with MyGroser, the platform will also be drawing additional resources and product offerings from the online grocery store for its customers.
EatLokal’s service areas will be for restaurants and consumers within a 5km radius of each other within Klang Valley, and the platform promises to expand its coverage, restaurant selection, and co-branded F&B offerings in the coming months. The platform’s service is accessible across Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Bangsar, Damansara, Mont Kiara, and many others.
