Crysis Remastered Release Date Leak Points To 23 July Availability

Crysis games have always been titles to use to test if your gaming rig can take a graphical beating. And with the announcement of Crysis Remastered, it’s a meme that will be making a comeback. The official web page for the remaster first surfaced in April, seemingly confirming the game. Now, the official Twitter account for the game posted a YouTube trailer that will premiere at midnight tonight.

But despite the suspense publisher Crytek wants to create for the game, it has had its details leaked early. And the source of this was none other than the Microsoft Store. Eurogamer reports that the game was listed on the store for a short while, with a 23 July release date. At the time of writing, the store listing has already been taken down.

There have been a number of other videos on YouTube, claiming to be Crysis Remastered extracted from the now pulled Microsoft Store page. But with the official trailer premiering so soon, it is probably better to wait until that is available, and watch it for what it really is.

As mentioned earlier, Crysis Remastered brings with it the “Ccan it run Crysis” meme. You can take a look at Nvidia’s reply to the original tweet, and the responses it is getting, to see where this is going. Hopefully the trailer also comes with the minimum and recommended PC specs, so people will know beforehand if their rig can run the game.
