Samsung Announces Galaxy A21s; Features 48MP Quad Camera Setup

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A21s, a new addition to the mid-range line. Despite being a mid-range device, it comes with a lot of features that you’d expect to find on flagship devices instead. Which, come to think of it, is becoming more and more common these days, especially with the Galaxy A line.

To start, the Galaxy A21s comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-O display. It runs an octa-core 2GHz chipset, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable by 512GB via microSD. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 15w fast charging. The phone also supports 5G connectivity.

On the back, you’ll find a fingerprint sensor, and the quad camera setup. This consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. And on the front, the Samsung Galaxy A21s comes with a 13MP camera in the punch hole cutout. This will also be used for the phone’s facial recognition feature.

The Samsung Galaxy A21s comes with a price of GBP179 (~RM943), and will be available in the UK starting 19 June. The company has yet to say anything about the phone being available elsewhere outside of Europe.
