CMCO: Family Visitations Can Only Takes Place On The First Day of Raya, Kaamatan, and Gawai
In today’s media briefing, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob stated that social visits during the upcoming festive season that are within the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period can only take place on the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Pesta Kaamatan, and Hari Gawai.
Minister Ismail also pointed out that the festive social visits should be limited to nearby family members with maximum number of 20 people on that day. Of course, the public need to decide themselves on the exact limit per visit, in relation to the respective size of their homes and taking social distance into consideration.
– Jumlah maksimum 20 orang sehari ini juga perlu mengambil kira saiz kediaman masing-masing bagi memastikan SOP penjarakan sosial dapat diamalkan

Prior to this, PM Muhyiddin Yassin has already touched on social visits during festive season when he announced the extension of CMCO. Among them including is the permission to visit neighbours and family members within the same state as well as the limit of 20 people at a time.
However, today’s instructions from the National Security Council are stricter and more particular as opposed to the original announcement made by PM Muhyiddin. Meanwhile, please don’t to wear face mask and practice social distancing when you visit your relatives during the upcoming festivities.
Also, do remember that there are still no vaccine for COVID-19. Despite the improving conditions, our battle against the pandemic is still not yet over.
