Epic Games and J.J. Abrams’ Company Are Beta Testing Their New Mobile Game in Malaysia
For those who love science fiction movies and TV series, then J.J. Abrams’ name should be familiar to you thanks to his work such as Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Trek, and Star Wars. But do you know that he also has a game company? As it turns out, the company which is called Bad Robot Games together with the people behind Fortnite, Epic Games are now beta testing a new mobile game right here in Malaysia.
Called Spyjinx, the new mobile game revolves around espionage and heists. According to the game’s official description, Spyjinx is apparently a mix of action-strategy and RPG with peer-to-peer multiplayer element to spice things up.
Aside from the information provided through its official website, there is nothing much we know about the game or people behind it. That being said, the game was originally scheduled to be released in 2016 according to this interview:
Nevertheless, we certainly have no idea why Epic and Bad Robot choose Malaysia as the first market to beta test Spyjinx. However, the beta test is currently only available for iOS devices and if you want to test it out, just head on to the Apple App Store on your device.
For the meantime, don’t forget to wash your hands, practice good hygiene, and stay home!
