Samsung Announces Galaxy M11; Features Infinity-O Display and Triple-Camera Setup
Less than a week after it announced the Galaxy M31, Samsung has officially announced the existence of yet another device for the series. The phone is question is called the Galaxy M11 and from the looks of it, it’s a phone designed for the entry-level market.
The official listing of the Galaxy M11 was reportedly spotted on the brand’s official UAE page. Specs-wise, the phone supposedly rocks a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, up to 4GB RAM and between 32GB and 64GB of expandable storage. On the outside, the phone’s display is a 6.4-inch Infinity-O HD+ panel, with a punch hole for the selfie camera located at the top-left corner.
On the subject of cameras, the Galaxy M11’s main camera is a triple-camera module, comprising a 13MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the selfie camera, it uses an 8MP sensor. Powering it all up is a surprisingly large 5000mAh battery. On a side note, there’s also a fingerprint scanner mounted on to the back of the phone, but to be fair, it’s actually become a standard practice for most entry-level to mid-range smartphones.
At the time of writing, Samsung still hasn’t specified local pricing or availability. On top of that, it’s still uncertain if the Galaxy M11 for our market will run on the earlier mentioned Snapdragon 450 SoC or some entry-level variation chipset from Samsung’s Exynos line.
