Rack Mount Apple Mac Pro Now Available For Malaysia: Full-Spec Setup Costs Almost RM 240,000

A few weeks ago, Apple has unleashed the pricing of Mac Pro in which would cost more than RM 230,000 for a maxed-out unit. However, that only applies for the desktop version as the pricing for the other variant which comes in the rack mount form factor is only revealed this week.

At RM 25,999, the base price for the rack mount version of Mac Pro is RM 2,000 more than the desktop version. But once you max out the hardware, the difference in terms of pricing is just RM 240 which was mainly because the cost to obtain the additional wheels for the desktop Mac Pro is rather hefty.

With a price tag of RM 239,227.80, the full-spec rack mount Mac Pro comes with an Intel Xeon W 28-core CPU, two AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo with 2 x 32GB HBM2 VRAM, 1.5TB DDR4 ECC RAM, 8TB solid stare drive, and Apple Afterburner accelerator card.

The price tag is also inclusive of Magic Mouse 2, Magic Trackpad 2, Final Cut Pro X, and Logic Pro X. Well, serious firepower usually come with a hefty price and that applies to the Mac Pro as well.
