Samsung Galaxy S11 Confirmed To Be Getting 108MP Camera, 5x Optical Zoom

By this point, we’ve heard several reports and rumours about the Samsung Galaxy S11 and how it would be the brand’s first flagship to sport the brand’s 108MP sensor. Recently, a report by Bloomberg seemingly confirmed that the phone will indeed house the massive ISOCELL camera sensor.

According to the report, the upcoming 2020 Galaxy flagship is confirmed to sport the exceptionally large 108MP ISOCELL sensor, along with three additional camera sensors in its primary module. That reportedly includes an ultrawide lens and 5x optical zoom, as well as a TOF (time-of-flight) sensor, similar to the one currently employed by the Galaxy Note10+.

The alleged confirmation falls in line with earlier speculations from last month; as a flagship, the Galaxy S11 is expected to sport its parent company’s latest chipset which is expected to be the Exynos 990. In the case of the US and EU-made models, we can expect the phone to be powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Sadly, the Galaxy S11 won’t have the bragging rights of being the first smartphone to sport the 108MP. That title belongs to the recently announced Xiaomi Mi Note 10.
