Samsung Begins Rollout Of Android 10 With One UI 2 Update For Galaxy Note10 Series

Samsung Galaxy Note10 owners rejoice. Less than a week since Samsung began rolling its One UI 2 with Android 10 update to its Galaxy S10 series, it’s now being reported that the same update has started making its way to the Galaxy Note10 series.

The One UI 2 stable update bears the serial number N975FXXU1BSL7, and from the looks of it, the OTA updates seems to be making its rounds to Note10 devices around Europe first. The screenshot, in particular, denotes that the Note10 in question belongs to a user in the Netherlands. Also, the size of the update appears to be considerably smaller; whereas the Android 10 update for the Galaxy S10 was approximately 2GB, the update size for the Note10 series is listed at just 144.2MB.

When you think about it, the size of the update does make sense; with the Galaxy S10, the reason behind its large update can primarily be contributed to features the phone lacked prior. Seeing how the Note10 and Note10+ has some of the features listed in the update, it could be why the OTA update is merely a fraction of the size.

At the time of writing, the OTA update doesn’t seem to have reached Galaxy Note10 devices in Malaysia. Considering how fast the update became available for Galaxy S10 devices in Malaysia, it’s safe to say that Note10 owners may not have to wait too long.
