Nokia 2.3 Is HMD Global’s Latest Entry-Level Phone; Priced At EUR109

The Nokia 2.2 was just made available in Malaysia in the middle of the year. But just before the year ends, HMD Global has announced a successor to the phone. As with the way its devices are named, said successor is known as the Nokia 2.3.

The Nokia 2.3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable by 512GB via microSD. The phone runs Android 9 Pie, and comes with a 4000mAh battery, which is quite large for a phone like this.

On the back, it comes with a 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup. The front-facing camera comes in at 5MP. It also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant hardware button, as is increasingly common phone Nokia devices. For better or worse, as a budget phone the Nokia 2.3 comes with a Micro-USB charging port.

The Nokia 2.3 is priced at EUR109 (~RM502). That said, HMD Global has not said anything about its availability outside Europe just yet. That, unfortunately, includes Malaysia.
