Garmin Launches MARQ Collection; Starts From RM7999

Garmin isn’t a brand one would usually associate with premium and elegant looking smartwatches. Surprisingly, the wearable brand just launched its MARQ Collection, a series of “luxury tool” smartwatches that are each designed with a particular sport or activity in mind.

In total, the MARQ Collection comprises six different smartwatch models, and as mentioned above, the name of each watch also serves as a description, both for its desired function and the market segment it wishes to appeal to. Specifically, they are the Athlete, Commander, Adventurer, Captain, Aviator, and Driver.

In general, all six variants sport five buttons; three on the left side, and two on the right. Apart from that, each bezel is different from the other; for example, the Athlete’s bezel has a Recovery time and V02 Max scale design, while the Captain model has an Engineered Ceramic GPS-Enhanced Regatta Timer bezel.

It’s the same story for the watch straps. As another example, the Commander has what Garmin calls a Tritone Jacquard-Weave Strap, while the Adventurer sports an articulated Italian Vacchetta Leather Strap. At the top of the pyramid, both the Aviator and Driver are the only two that feature Titanium bracelets and clasps.

The Garmin Marq Collection is already available at all official Garmin Brand Stores, and each wearable will retail as listed below:
