BAD LAB Announces Its Own CS:GO Team, Alongside Dota 2 and Tekken 7 Tournament with Watson
BAD LAB officially kicked off its first BAD LAB eSports tournament, featuring BAD DUEL and BAD LAB BRAWL, and in collaboration with local personal care store, Watsons. The tournament marks the first time that two brands in the personal care industry join the eSports industry.
In conjunction with the tournament announcement, BAD LAB has also unveiled its BAD LAB eSports team for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The team itself started off a friendly exhibition match with Team SynxMamba.
The BAD DUEL Dota 2 tournament will run in two phases. Teams will play in an online qualifier before proceeding to the main event, which will be offline. From there, the top four qualified teams will be invited to play in the finals on 16 and 17 November at Sunway Velocity Mall.
In the case of the BAD LAB BRAWL Tekken 7 tournament, the duels will be hosted locally at the event itself, with the first day kicking off alongside BAD DUEL tournament. Further, players in the top eight placings will be fighting for the grand prize on the second day.
On the subject of prizes, the BAD DUEL Dota 2 tournament features a total prize pool of RM4000, while BAD LAB BRAWL Tekken 7 has a prize pool of RM2000. Additionally, all prizes include merchandise from BAD LAB.
