realme X2 Pro With 64MP Main Camera Now Official; First Flagship realme Device

realme as a brand has mostly been entrenched in the mid-range of the smartphone market. It’s latest, the realme 5 and realme 5 Pro, are great examples. Now, it looks like the company is looking to enter the high-end segment, with the announcement of the realme X2 Pro.

Even on the outside, the realme X2 Pro comes with premium components. The 6.5-inch Full HD+ display supports up to 90Hz of refresh rate. Underneath it is a fingerprint sensor. On the inside, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. This makes it the first device from the brand to use an 800 series chipset. Powering them is a 400mAh battery with SuperVOOC 50W fast charging tech.

On the back, it comes with a quad-camera setup, featuring the 64MP shooter the brand has been teasing since August. The other cameras on the setup include a 13MP 2x telephoto shooter, an 8MP 115-degree ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The realme X2 Pro was announced in China with three different RAM and storage configurations. The first is a 6GB + 64GB variant, which is priced at CNY2699 (~RM1598). The other two, the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, are priced instead at CNY2899 (~RM1717) and CNY3299 (~RM1954), respectively. These also come with UFS 3.0 storage, making then that little bit faster. All that said, the company hasn’t released any local pricing or availability details.
