Bethesda Adds Fallout 1st Subscription Service To Fallout 76
Bethesda’s Fallout 76 is, to say the least, not a game that’s commonly mentioned in praise. Its lack of content, numerous bugs and ever-increasing number of game affecting items in a premium store that was initially marketed as having only cosmetics are among the issues gamers have with it. And now, it looks like the game will also have a subscription service.
Bethesda has very recently added a new page on its website detailing what it calls the Fallout 1st premium membership. Essentially, you pay either US$12.99 (~RM54) a month or US$ 99.99 (~RM419) a year for a number of benefits. These include a private server which the company calls Private Worlds, a Scrapbox with unlimited storage space, and a Survival Tent which you can pitch as a portable Fast Travel point.
There are other cosmetic perks as well, which includes the iconic Ranger Armor outfit as well as exclusive icons and emotes. Subscribers will also get 1650 Atoms, the game’s premium currency, a month. It’s up to you to decide if these perks are worth the kind of money Bethesda is asking for.
The Fallout 1st subscription service is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of Fallout 76. At the time of writing, the subscription service does not have a localised page on the PlayStation Store.
