Huawei Can Now Purchase Products From US Suppliers Once Again

In a surprise twist to the on-going saga between Huawei and the United States government, the Chinese technology company is now able to purchase products from its US suppliers once again. This is based on the remarks made by President Donald Trump earlier today at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan.

However, such products must possess no threats to the US national security:

Despite the reversal, Huawei’s name is still in the US Commerce Department’s entities list though which means that the US sanctions on the company are not yet been fully removed. In fact, Trump has stated that the US is saving the issue of Huawei for the end of its trade talks with China.

So, all in all, Huawei is still not yet in the clear for the time being. Then again, we should be hearing more updates regarding the issue next week.
