Sony Now Accepting EA Access On PlayStation 4

Sony first turned down the EA Access offer from Electronic Arts. Five years later, and it looks like the Japanese console giant has changed its mind. Starting July, you will be able to sign up for your EA Access subscription on the PlayStation 4 (PS4) via the PlayStation Store (PS Store).

Like its existing offering for the Xbox One, an EA Access subscription grants you a range of benefits. This includes early access to EA-published games before they launch and 10% discounts when you buy EA titles. You also get to play 10 hours of EA’s games before you buy them, via its Play First Trials. And probably best of all, you get full access of games that’s in the Vault without having to buy them.

The listed price of subscription so far looks to be the same as before. We’re looking at US$4.99 (~RM20.70) a month, or US$29.99 (~RM124.43) for a full year. Either EA or Sony may announce localised pricing closer to the start of the service, but for now, we’ll have to make do with the US pricing.

As mentioned, you can subscribe to EA Access from the PlayStation Store starting July. If you want to be notified the moment it becomes available, EA has a page where you to sign up for it, which we’ve place in the source below.
