Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Lite Appears On Geekbench; Features Snapdragon 660 SoC And Android 9.0 Pie
A recent Geekbench listing revealed that Xiaomi might be releasing the Pocophone F1 Lite, a cut down version of the Pocophone F1. The listing also revealed some of the specifications for the rumoured F1 Lite, previously codenamed “Uranus”.
For those unaware, Xiaomi released the Pocophone F1 with top-of-the-line hardware at an affordable price. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, a choice between 6GB and 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. After its successful launch last year, it’s not surprising that Xiaomi would want to develop a budget version of the Pocophone F1.
According to the Geekbench listing, the F1 Lite is tested running on Android 9 Pie and sdm660, which is the reference code for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. Along with 4GB RAM. The F1 Lite was able to score 1341 and 4830 on the single and multi-core test, respectively. Although the Snapdragon 660 SoC does not perform as well as the 845 SoC, it should still provide relatively decent performance.
That said, Xiaomi has not released any official announcement regarding the device yet. So we do advise you to take this bit of news with a grain of salt. At least until Xiaomi makes an official announcement for it.
