The New MacBook Air Features Retina Display, Touch ID, and More Compact Body
Just moments ago at its media event in Brooklyn, Apple has unveiled the latest iteration of MacBook Air to the world. Made from 100% recycled aluminum, the new model is not only more compact than its predecessor but is also equipped with a 13.3-inch Retina Display which apparently one of the most requested features from Apple customers.
The new MacBook Air also comes with 8th Intel Core dual-core processor and can be obtained with up to 16GB RAM as well as 1.5TB solid state drive. It also features a Touch ID sensor that is positioned directly into the MacBook Air’s keyboard and powered by a dedicated T2 security chip.
To be available starting from 7 November onwards, the new MacBook Air has a starting price of USD 1199 (about RM 5016). We’ll keep you updated once we heard more regarding the availability and pricing for the new laptop in Malaysia.
