The 9th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processors Are Now Official: Led By Core i9-9900K 8C/16T Chip

There were plenty of rumors and leaks regarding them prior to the launch event today but here they are: Intel has finally announced the 9th Generation Intel Core processor lineup for the desktop market. Leading the new group of products is the Intel Core i9-9900K and yes, it will indeed come with that multi-sided translucent packaging.

Featuring 8-cores and 16-threads capability, Intel stated that the Core i9-9900K is the company’s first ever mainstream chip with such setup. Alongside that, the company also claimed that the Core i9-9900K is the world’s best gaming processor.

The new 9th Gen Intel Core desktop processors will be made available in the market starting from 19 October onwards globally.
