28-Cores Intel Xeon W-3175X Coming To Market This December: Offers Up To 4.3GHz Out Of The Box
Over at its Performance Unleashed media event in New York today, Intel has officially unveiled the new Intel Xeon W-3175X processor. While it was not mentioned on stage, we believe that this is the very chip that the company teases at Computex earlier this year since it comes with 28-cores.
Said to be designed for professionals that required a high amount of firepower, the new chip apparently able to run at up to 4.3GHz out of the box. While the Computex prototype is running on a highly customized cooler, the on-stage demo machine seemed to be equipped with a standard AIO liquid cooler.
We still waiting for more details regarding the chip from Intel. So, stay tuned.
