Intel Unleashes New Core X-Series CPUs with Up To 18 Cores and 36 Threads, Available This November
Frankly speaking, 28-core processor is not meant for everyone but there are still some users especially gamers and content creators that still want to have more performance than a standard processor. Hence, this is where Intel Core X-series comes into the picture and the company has unveiled a new lineup for the High-End Desktop (HEDT) processor series at its Performance Unleashed media event today.
For the new lineup, the Core X-series now offers up to 18-cores which equal to 36-threads thanks to the well-established Intel Hyper-Threading tech. The series has a total of 7 processors for consumers to choose from, as shown below:
These new Intel Core X-series processors will be available to consumers starting from this November onwards.
We still waiting for more details regarding the new chip series from Intel. So, stay tuned.
