LG Q7 spotted on Geekbench, comes with 4GB RAM and Helio P10
LG recently announced their flagship device of the year – LG G7 ThinQ. The brand is now working on two other smartphones which might get announced soon. LG V35 ThinQ and LG Q7 are the upcoming smartphones from the brand in which one targets the budget consumer while other is more on a premium side.
The device appears on the Geekbench listing revealing some of its specifications and of course with scores. Last year, the company introduced two smartphones under the Q series – Q6 and Q8. The Q6 was the budget alternative to the then-flagship G6. LG is following up the same pattern with the Q7 being the alternative for G7 ThinQ.
LG Q7 surfaced on Geekbench listing with Helio P10
As per the listing, the device is going to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. This processor is clocked at the speed of 1.51GHz and has eight cores. It runs on the latest release of Android, version 8.1 Oreo. The last year Q6 comes with the Qualcomm processor but this time the brand decided to go with MediaTek. Talking about the scores. the device achieves a single-core result of 630 and a multi-core test of 2322.
We’re expecting this device to look similar to LG G7 Thinq which comes with a tall screen with a notch. Apart from that, it seems like the company is going to launch another smartphone alongside Q7. Recently, the South Korean company requested a trademark for “the Q Note” name. We might see an LG Q7 note equipped with the stylus too.
LG Q7 expected launch date
Looking at the previous timeline, we can say the company might announce the Q7 at the end of June or beginning of July. The device will get a release date somewhere in the month of August. As per the pricing concern, we still don’t have any info regarding it.
Since the announcement is a month away, we’re presuming more leaks and rumors to emerge online. You can follow us on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter to stay updated.
