Amazon Alexa now lets users change appointments via voice controls

Amazon’s Alexa will now allow users to change calendar appointments through voice commands.

With the new functionality, users can tell say “Alexa, move my meeting at 10am to tomorrow at 12pm” and Alexa will take care of the rest.

Alternatively, if both participants have shared their availability with one another, saying “Alexa, schedule a meeting with [name]” will have the assistant suggest a new time based on each person’s schedule. participants.

The features have begun rolling out to U.S. users, although it’s unclear when they’re coming to Canada.

Last week, Amazon also revealed a series of new voices that can be used by Alexa Skills.
