WWE Launches Free Version Of Their Streaming Service

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that the Free Version of their network’s streaming service has been launched, thus providing more than 15,000 titles to be available to non-paid members. The company previously made its streaming service available to all users outside of its subscription for free back in March this year.

The Free Version is described as a key component to WWE’s digitisation strategy and a new way for fans to experience its premium content, according to company executive vice president Jayar Donlan. Similar to their move made in March, this recent launch also encourages fans to stay entertained at home as they continue to practice social distancing during the current pandemic.

Content provided in the free WWE service includes original series, legacy events, highlights and even recent episodes of the brand’s flagship programmes such as RAW, Smackdown and NXT. Pretty similar to what the network provided back in March but with some new additions, while the only difference is that viewers will need to sign up for a membership on their website.

As mentioned earlier, the free service is available to all with no credit card required for registration. The Free Version can be accessed through the WWE App on Android and iOS devices, gaming consoles, as well as via web browser by visiting their official website.
