Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Specifications And Design Allegedly Leaked

The existence of a new Samsung smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 3, popped up online thanks to a FCC listing discovered by several sources last month. While the product itself has not been officially announced by the company, details of its specifications have recently surfaced.

As previously reported, the Galaxy Watch 3 is said to come in 41mm and 45mm sizes, and would also see the return of the rotating bezel for user interaction. In addition, SamMobile has recently revealed that the 41mm will have a 1.2-inch display, while the 45mm sports a 1.4-inch display. Both models will be covered by Corning Gorilla Glass DX.

Other than that, the watch will allegedly feature 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, LTE and GPS connectivity, IP68 water resistance, and MIL-STD-810G rated durability. The 41mm and 45mm batteries come in at 247mAh and 340mAh respectively. The watches will also be offered in stainless steel and titanium variants.

Feature-wise, SamMobile claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will include a heart rate monitor with 8 pulse-reading photodiodes and blood pressure monitoring support. They added that it will also be equipped with an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor – a feature that was included in the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but was only recently approved for activation in South Korea.

Lastly, the tech website mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will supposedly launch sometime in July, along with a new pair of wireless earbuds from the Korean brand. Prior to this, several sources have speculated that the new smartwatch will debut with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 during the company’s Unpacked event in August.
