Samsung has recently announced that the Family Hub Refrigerator is now available for purchase in Malaysia. The release of the smart refrigerator in our market is surely a long time coming as the original model was first introduced to the world back in 2016.
Through its gigantic touch screen display, the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator allows users to display messages, photos, videos, and daily schedules through the large touch display on one of its doors. Made possible by the connected apps within the Family Hub ecosystem, there are also additional abilities such as recipe search, meal planner, and shopping list.
Equipped with Bixby digital personal assistant, users can also utilize the Family Hub to mirror contents from their connected Samsung TVs and Samsung smartphones. Another signature feature of the Family Hub is called View Inside which allows users to have a look at the contents of the fridge without the need to open its doors. In Malaysia, the Family Hub Refrigerator is currently being offered in the form of a 660L Side by Side model which costs RM 8999 and is immediately available for order through Samsung Malaysia E-Store as well as selected partners.
