Ubisoft Forward Is The Publisher’s E3-Style Showcase; To Be Streamed On 12 July
Ubisoft has announced what it calls the Ubisoft Forward. This is publisher’s plan for an E3-style showcase, in place of the cancelled event. Considering what the showcase represents, this will be when the company reveals more about its upcoming games.
The company was extremely brief with its announcement, with no details on what it will be showcasing. But considering the number of games Ubisoft has in queue, chances are we will see more than a couple of them. This will also likely include the recently unveiled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Especially after the recent, err, “gameplay” trailer.
Chances are the Ubisoft Forward event will also reveal more about Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, and Rainbow Six: Quarantine. These games were delayed to be out closer to the launch of the next-gen consoles. The company also has two more unannounced projects in the pipeline, and an event like this seems like the perfect way to announce them.
Back in March, the Entertainment Software Association announced the cancellation of this year’s E3. Since then, many publishers were expected to host their own livestreamed event in lieu of the major gaming expo. This Ubisoft Forward will likely be one of many, with EA having already announced its EA Play Live on 11 June.
