Latest Windows 10 Cumulative Update Reportedly Breaking Wi-Fi And Deleting Files
Complaints by several Windows 10 users are complaining that their systems have encountered a multitude of issues after they updated their OS. To be precise, the issues started after they installed the Windows 10 KB4549951 cumulative update.
Issues that plague the KB4549951 update include breaking a system’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, internet connectivity issues, a significant reduction in the affected system’s performance, the return of the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). As well as complete system crashes.
This isn’t the first time Microsoft released a buggy update. Years ago, the company also came under fire with its Windows 10 October 2018 update; it was reported that the update was causing certain files to go missing after installation.
At the time of writing, Microsoft still hasn’t addressed the issues or announced when it would be releasing a patch for the dreaded issue. If you happen to be one of those who are affected by the cumulative update, it would be in your best interest to roll back to a more stable version of Windows 10 OS. At least, until a time when Microsoft does get back to the community.
