Astro Launching New Stay Home Concert Channel; Free During MCO Period

With the Movement Control Order (MCO) extended until 28 April, Malaysians are clearly looking for new ways and forms of entertainment to keep them occupied for the next two weeks. For those among you who have a subscription to Astro, you may be interested to know that the service is launching a new concert and music channel, starting tomorrow.

The channel is called Stay Home Concert (CH700) and will be available for free for the remainder to the MCO until 28 April. This channel will be made available through Astro TV box and Astro GO app while customers can also choose to view each concerts individually via On Demand by searching for artist’s name.

Some small details to take note of; the offer is not available to NJOI customers, neither will it be available for non-Astro customers that are utilizing MCO’s complimentary access on Astro GO.

Per the official statement, Stay Home Concert will offer viewers access to a vast number of international, Korean, and local concerts, provided by the service’s partners. Including Universal Music Malaysia, Warner Music Malaysia, MTC, ONE TV Asia, K-Plus, and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, to name a few.

To highlight some concerts, the list includes performances by Green Day, Katy Perry, the Spice Girls, K-Pop icons groups SBS and BTS, as well as Konsert Gergasi KRU 25.
