DHL Announces DHLontheGo Service; Shipment Management Via WhatsApp

DHL Express Malaysia has recently announced their new WhatsApp service DHLontheGo. The service allows you to send international shipments easier, faster and more secure via your smartphone.

The DHLontheGo service was launched using the WhatsApp Business API, and is currently in its beta testing phase. From the service’s video demonstration posted on the DHL’s official Twitter and Facebook page, a chat bot will attend to your inquiries and details of your shipment will be logged into DHL’s systems for processing.

The company notes that the new WhatsApp service is only available for users in the Klang Valley region for the time being. DHL could expand the service’s coverage to other locations in Malaysia once it exits its beta testing phase in the near future.
