LG Will Showcase A New Rollable TV And A 48-Inch OLED TV In CES 2020

When it comes to flexible displays, chances are you’ll think of a foldable phone. LG, on the other hand, has been working on putting the tech into TVs instead. And in CES 2020, the company intends to unveil a new rollable TV.

Details about the rollable TV are scarce for now. What is known is that it will be a 65-inch UHD OLED TV that rolls down from the ceiling. As for if the TV is something to be hanged from the ceiling, or if it will come with a stand of some sort, we’ll likely only find out during the show.

Beyond the rollable TV, LG also intends to showcase a 48-inch OLED TV. This will be the brand’s smallest OLED TV, with the previous smallest TV size measuring at 55 inches. There’s no pricing or availability details on this, and chances are we won’t get them immediately after its official unveiling either.

Living room displays aside, LG also intends to showcase a number of other screens during this year’s CES. These include a 55-inch transparent OLED diplay meant to be put in planes as aisle partitions. Another is described as a series of plastic OLED screens for use in cars. As for what they are exactly, we’ll have to wait until CES in underway to find out.
