Alleged Official Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Press Renders Leaked

Samsung’s Unpacked event which will debut the Galaxy S20 series and the Galazy Z Flip is only a few weeks away. While we may have seen several leaks of the S20 recently, leaker Ishan Agarwal has managed to snag up allegedly official press renders ahead of its launch.

The leaked renders are a collaborative effort between Agarwal and 91Mobiles, and showcases all three models of the upcoming Samsung flagships. Additionally, the leaker also provided new information related to the camera specs of the handsets.

To start things off, lets begin with the standard S20 variant. The renders do share similarities with the renders previously provided by OnLeaks, save for some slight differences in the colours and placement of the Samsung logo. The volume rocker and lock button are located on its right, and the Bixby button has been abandoned entirely.

The phone’s triple camera setup is housed in a rectangular camera island located in the back, while its front camera is situated in a top centered punch-hole cutout on the phone’s main curved display. It’s speculated that the rear camera setup consists of a 12MP wide, 64MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide.

The S20 Plus is not much different compared to its smaller sibling in terms of form factor. However, one major difference (apart from its obvious larger size) is its rear quad-camera setup. On top of featuring the same sensors as the standard S20, the Plus variant packs an extra ToF sensor to complete the package. Its camera island is also wider in order to accomodate the fourth camera.

Lastly, we have the Samsung S20 Ultra. This variant is expected to be the largest, rumoured to be 6.9-inch in size with a large curved display to complement its design. Again, its overall design layout is not much different compared to its siblings, but it does sport a more eye-catching camera island on its back. The renders show that a larger camera module which partitions its alleged 100x “Space Zoom” periscope camera from the other three camera sensors.

In our previous report, XDA’s Max Winebach suggested that the Galaxy S20 model may cost between EUR900 (~RM4059) and EUR1000 (~RM4510), the S20 Plus between EUR 1050 (~RM4736) and EUR1100 (~RM4961), and the Ultra expected around EUR1300 (~RM5864). As usual for every rumour, leaks and speculations, it’s best that we wait for an official announcement from Samsung themselves when Galaxy S20 series launches on 11 February.
