OPPO Snapdragon 865 Flagship Phone Is Coming In Q1 2020

To help introduce the new Snapdragon 865 and 765/765G mobile processors to the world, Qualcomm has invited a number of partners to the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 in Hawaii. In addition to Xiaomi, another company that have appeared on stage at the event was OPPO.

Not surprisingly, the Chinese phone giant took the opportunity to announce that OPPO is already working on its next flagship smartphone. While the company didn’t reveal the phone’s actual name on stage, OPPO’s Vice President, Alen Wu has confirmed that the device will be running on Snapdragon 865.

Just like Xiaomi, OPPO is keeping other features of its upcoming flagship phone as secret for now. Nevertheless, the company will be launching the new Snapdragon 865-based device some time in Q1 2020.

In addition to that, Alen has also revealed there are already other 5G devices in the pipeline as well. With that, expect to hear more about those devices from OPPO very soon.
