Steam Library Redesign Goes Live; Features Custom Categories, New Layout

About a month ago, we had a sneak peek at Steam’s redesigned games Library. Now, that revamped look has made its way on the digital console.

The new skin still keeps the familiar lists of games interface on the left, albeit with slightly bigger fonts and wider leading between the title names. The most recent addition to the Library Page is a dedicated Home tab that lists down a variety of information and updates. Including the most recent updates to games, your most recently played titles, and what is trending.

Additionally, the information page for games has been revamped as well. As of now, Steam users will have their games display with a featured image for their purchased title, along with a big green Play button situated at the top left corner. Further, the new layout also displays your achievements, trading cards, and all applicable DLCs of the game in tiles position to the far-right.

Last but not least, you can also build your own shelves of most frequently played title for ease of access. All that is needed is for you to simply drag and drop the preferred titles from the “All Games” tab to your new tab.

At the time of writing, the Steam Halloween Sale is also still ongoing, with discounts being applied to titles that fit the season’s spooky theme. Additionally, Remote Play Together is currently next in the queue for the next Steam feature, so we know what we can expect.
