Radiation Leakage Discovered At Pos Aviation Terminal In KLIA

Radiation leak has been discovered at the Pos Aviation terminal in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) earlier today. According to the report by Bernama, the leak has been confirmed by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM).

The report further stated that all Pos Aviation staff were asked to evacuate the premise at around 11 AM as instructed by the KLIA’s Fire and Rescue Service. Due to the leakage, Pos Aviation has also suspended all activities at the premise until further notice.

In the same report, JBPM spokesperson has stated that the situation is already under control. However, no further information regarding the radiation leak has been released at the moment.
