SteelSeries Refreshes Sensei Gaming Mouse; Renamed As Sensei Ten

SteelSeries has officially resurrected its original Sensei gaming mouse, both with updated hardware and a new name: the Sensei Ten. Despite the name change, though, the mouse still sports the same design as its predecessor from 2009.

Like the original Sensei, the Sensei Ten houses a total of eight buttons, all of which can be binded to functions of your choice, via SteelSeries’ Engine software. In keeping up with the trend, SteelSeries has also installed RGB lighting in the mouse.

Beyond the identical ambidextrous design, the Sensei Ten has been given a bump up in performance. For starters, the mouse now features SteelSeries’ TrueMove Pro optical sensor that gives the mouse up to 18,000 CPI.

The mechanical switches in the Sensei Ten are now rated to last 60 million clicks; more than double the durability of the original Sensei. There is also onboard memory to store up to five configurations on the go. As before, the colour of the RGB lighting can be adjusted with the Steelseries Engine software. Lastly, the mouse will still be keeping its wired connectivity.

As for price, the Sensei Ten comes in at US$69.99 (~RM293). Steelseries Malaysia has announced on Facebook that it will be available soon, with no specific date or price.
