2020 Predator League Malaysia Qualifier Registration Opens with a RM100,000 Prize Pool on Offer

One of the biggest esports tournaments in asia, the Asia Pacific Predator League is kicking off soon, and the registrations for the Malaysian Dota 2 qualifiers are now open!

The Asia Pacific Predator League is an annual esports competition that has been running for several years now, and the 2020 edition features a sizeable total prize pool of $400,000 USD split between the 2 games: Dota 2 and PUBG.

The level of competition between all of the participating nations has always been intense in the Predator League, and this was exemplified in the results of the Predator League 2019 as 6 different countries were represented in the top 3 of Dota 2 and PUBG, with Malaysia being represented by team Geek Fam who achieved 3rd place in the Dota 2 finals.

Those who are eager to test their skills and represent Malaysia in the finals must first prove themselves to be the best esports players in the nation by participating in the national qualifiers taking place in October and November.

Dota 2 will have 4 regional qualifiers taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, Kajang and Penang along with 2 additional online qualifiers, while the PUBG qualifiers will be comprised solely of 4 online qualifiers. There’s plenty of incentive for Malaysian teams to try and compete, as there will be a RM100,000 prize pool on offer for the Malaysian qualifiers alone.

Those who are interested in joining may head on over to the Predator League website to register and learn more details about the competition. Dota 2 registration is open now but PUBG players will have to wait until the 1st of November before they can register.
