Latest Google Pixel 4 Leak Shows Phone In Bright Orange; Gesture And Astrophotography Mode Confirmed

October is less than a month away, yet leaks of its upcoming Pixel 4 flagship continue to find their way to the internet. The most recent leaks not only suggest a new colour option but also details some of the features that it will have at launch.

In regards to the colour, one of the leaks showcases the Pixel 4 in what looks to be a really bright orange. While Google is known for shipping out its previous Pixel flagships in unconventional colours, it’s hard to deny that this choice of orange is really eye-popping.

The next leak on the list comes in the form of a video, more specifically, a leaked promotional video of the alleged Pixel 4. It was first posted on YouTube by Spanish tech site ProAndroid and taken down by Google shortly after. However, sites such as 9to5Google managed to repost the promo video.

One feature that the video confirms is Gesture Mode, which happens around the 0:14 mark. The feature was long rumoured to be a new addition to the Pixel 4, along with Google’s own variation of Face Unlock technology. Another feature being promoted is an astrophotography mode and an 8x zoom, as evidenced near the end of the video.

The display on the Pixel 4 is also expected to have a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a dual main camera setup. Beyond that, there’s still no official information about the phone’s hardware, although, at this point, it wouldn’t surprise us if it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and as much as 6GB RAM.
