Streamyx Is Now Unifi Lite; Customers To Be Automatically Migrated This September

Alongside Unifi AIR, TM has also announced that the company will automatically migrate copper-based Streamyx to the new Unifi Lite plan next month. While the name might be new-ish (not to be confused with the 2017 unifi Lite plan), the plan was originally mentioned at the Kembara Digital Malaysia roadshow in Ipoh last week.

Normally priced at RM 89 per month, Unifi Lite will be priced at RM 69 per month for existing Streamyx customers. For customers that already paying less than RM 69 per month, their monthly fee will remain the same.

In terms of speed, it will go up to 8Mbps whenever it is technically viable. Meanwhile, the automatic migration will take place this September.

In other words, Streamyx customers’ bill in September will be reduced to RM 69. At the same time, there are no changes to customers contract, if there’s any.
